Got launched early right at 5:30 am, stopped fishing at 9 am. Headed to the N. Fork and found many fish, but dam, all small buggers. Fish were plentiful, but all small as they come.

Lake Oroville Fishing Report | This Week June 12
Launched about 5:30 am at Lime Saddle and fished till 9:30 am. Tried the drop off again, not nearly as super as last trip, picked up just 8 fish, then went to N. Fork and got another 18 for 26 fish today.

CDFW’S BAY DELTA REGION HEADQUARTERS MOVING FROM NAPA TO FAIRFIELD IN JUNE
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s (CDFW) Bay Delta Region is relocating its headquarters — including its License Sales Office — from Napa to Fairfield in June.

JUNE KICKS OFF RECREATIONAL OCEAN SALMON SEASON
Additional sections of the California coast will open up to recreational ocean salmon fishing in June. In the Klamath Management Zone, which is the area between the Oregon/California state line and Horse Mountain (40° 05’ 00” N. latitude), the season will open June 1 and continue through Sept. 3, 2018. The Fort Bragg and San Francisco areas, which extend from Horse Mountain to Point Arena (38° 57’ 30” N. latitude) and Point Arena to Pigeon Point (37° 11’ 00” N. latitude), respectively, will open June 17 and continue through Oct. 31, 2018. The Monterey area between Pigeon Point and the U.S./Mexico Border opened on Apr. 7 and will continue through July 2, 2018.
