Elites Help Out With Restocking Program That Will Benefit Toledo Bend Reservoir
en thousand Florida-strain largemouth bass fingerlings provided by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries were released in select areas on Toledo Bend Saturday by a group of volunteers that included pros from the Bassmaster Elite Series, B.A.S.S. staff members and locals, in an effort to produce larger-than-average bass for the next generation of Toledo Bend largemouth.

Springtime Cranking in Clear Water Reservoirs
Bass will use these structural elements as staging areas on their journey. The great thing to remember about these kind of spots is that they have a tendency to replenish themselves over time as new groups of fish head for the bank. Keep in mind that once the fish have finished their spawning duties, they will once again use these locations as they migrate back to deeper water during the post spawn.

I am certainly ready for a new season of bassin’ and hope you are too. I’ve been excited to kick off the year with coverage of the International Sports Shows in Sacramento and Scottsdale as well as the Fred Hall show. Red Fleet Reservoir (UT) Being Restocked After Rotenone Treatment
Restocking efforts at Red Fleet Reservoir are underway with new fish species soon joining the wipers, rainbow trout and native cutthroat trout that were stocked in November 2015.

Life Returns to Utah's Red Fleet Reservoir
Those at the boat ramp at Red Fleet Reservoir were all smiles when the first fish hatchery truck drove down the ramp on Nov. 16. The truck released more than 3,800 Colorado River cutthroat trout into the reclaimed waters. The truck returned a few hours later with its second load of fish, another 5,000 cutthroat trout from the Whiterocks State Fish Hatchery.
