Cash Reward for Each Northern Pike From Green Mountain Reservoir
A cash-based incentive offered by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Colorado Water Conservation Board encouraging anglers to catch northern pike at Green Mountain Reservoir resumes this year. Initiated in 2016, the reward program encourages anglers to participate directly in ongoing efforts to remove the illegally introduced predators from the reservoir.

Trophy trout and $50 reward tags await
In April and May the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will be releasing a total of 1,500 trophy-sized trout into Willow Creek Reservoir near Heppner. One hundred and fifty fish will be marked with brightly-colored tags, 15 of which will be worth a $50 Visa card to the anglers who redeem them.

Angler Rescued by Coast Guard
While search crews were en route to the scene, watchstanders from the Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg Command Center received a call via VHF-FM marine radio channel 16 from a good Samaritan who was on scene with the woman's husband. The good Samaritan stated the husband's boat was disabled and in need of assistance 23 miles off Bean Point.

Reward Offered for Return of Sturgeon Tags from California Delta
State and federal fisheries officials are asking for public assistance and offering a $20 reward for the return of each satellite tag from green sturgeon. The satellite tags, which are programmed to release from the fish after a predetermined time, are most likely to be found along the open ocean coastal portions of San Francisco and San Mateo counties, and the shores and waters of San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay, Suisun Bay and the Delta.
