“I throw a popping frog when bluegill are smacking on the top, or when the wind is blowing,” Monroe said. “Other than that, I use the walking frog the majority of the time. If there isn’t a ripple on the water, I’m using the walking frog even if the bluegill are smacking on top.”

"Look for the first drop off that is just off the spawning flat or that first channel bend that leads to the spawning flat. These are staging areas for the pre and post spawn fish. Just think about where you caught fish on beds and look for the staging area to those beds. That will help you find your post spawners. #TBT
