DOTY AND ROBINSON WIN 2017 BASS CAT OWNERS’ INVITATIONAL
Steve Doty of Jonesboro, Ark. and Tracy Robinson of Gadsen, Ala., added 15.68 pounds to their tournament-best Day One weight of 23.46 pounds to beat over 250 teams and win the 2017 Bass Cat Owners’ Invitational on Alabama’s Lake Guntersville. Sebastian DeRoy of Orillia, Ont., and Christopher Martin of New Hope, Ala., had 15.64 and jumped from 3rd place to 2nd, but it was not enough to catch the leaders.

Another fantastic turn out as 33 teams worked their way into the Marina Café for the fifth stop on the 2017 RTF tour. With a high-pressure system and howling winds the team of Brian Evans and Matt Newman recognize pretty early in the morning that this would be a difficult challenge. Making a crucial decision around noon to bear down and fish flooded brush with a drop shot plastic worm they were able to grind out 17.58 pounds of bass and a narrow victory

First and foremost, "BIG THANKS" to all 32 teams who supported today's event! The CDTT west Delta team made it's 3rd stop out of Russo's Marina on the California Delta saturday 4/1/17. The Delta has again proved it's reputation as being one of the top bass fisheries in the nation as solid limits of fish came to the scales.

Lowrance® Dominates 2017 GEICO® Bassmaster Classic
Lowrance®, a world-leader in fishing electronics since 1957, continued its domination of America’s tournament-fishing circuit as Lowrance Pro Jordan Lee won the 2017 Bassmaster Classic Championship on Lake Conroe in Houston, Texas last weekend. A 25-year-old professional angler from Guntersville, Alabama, Lee became the sixth consecutive Lowrance angler to win the Classic when he finished with a three-day total of 56 pounds, 10 ounces, taking home $300,000 and the most coveted trophy in the sport. Steve Kennedy, who also competed in the event with Lowrance marine electronics, finished second with a total weight of 55 pounds, 1 ounce.
