The mid arbor size of the President is larger than the standard reel for better line retrieval yet smaller than the large arbor styles for balance. Made of high-grade aluminum, the reel's frame and spool are precision machined for the utmost in fit and performance.
Smooth stacked discs create a drag mechanism that is smooth and reliable. The ergonomic aluminum handle is comfortable and easy to use and reel also features a quick release spool. The reel can be configured for either right- or left-hand use.
Five sizes are available starting with the 3-inch diameter 34 designed for 3- and 4-weight line tipping the scales at 4.3 ounces. The largest President, the 1112 is designed for 11- and 12-weight line, measures 4.13 inches and weighs 7.2 ounces. Each President mid arbor fly reel is packed with a protective reel pouch.
