The Rapala family of brands includes some of the biggest names in fishing. They are busy every year, and this year is no different.
Here is what is new with the brands after ICAST 2020 Online.
Rapala
Rapala is one most iconic fishing lure brands in existence and well-known for its hard baits.
This year, they added a new balsa bait called the OG 6 Slim. This bait was an idea from Rapala pro Ott DeFoe, who has long fished handmade balsa baits. This flat-sided bait has a circuit board lip and a great action with a medium wobble.
It will dive down to six-feet, weighs a ½-ounce, and measures in at two ¾-inches long.
Retail cost for the OG 6 Slim is $10.99 and it will initially be offered in 14 different colors.
New DT Series and X-Rap Prop Crankbait Colors
The Rapala DT Series is a staple among bass anglers and they just added five new colors: Big Shad, Chartreuse Rootbeer Craw, Citrus Shad, Green Gizzard Shad and Rootbeer Craw.
Big Shad helped DeFoe win a Bass Pro Tour event already this season and will be available for everyone soon.
For the Rapala X-Rap Prop, they added two new colors to this topwater bait. The new colors are Florida Gold and Black Chrome Orange.

Crossover Pliers and Rings
Designed just for wacky-rigging and Neko-Rigs, the Crossover Rigs have a dual-channel hook, so hooks can be inserted both ways to remain in the correct position. The added Crossover Pliers make it easy to add the rings, which can also be stored inside the handle.
From the famous Rapala brand to Storm, Terminator, VMC, and Sufix, they cover just about everything you will need to catch fish.
