where are u located
Re: Anyone no someone that works on electrical?
Located in sacramento.its an older bass boat. Thanks for the response.
Re: Anyone no someone that works on electrical?
could be a bad ground. Check all the wires under the console and see if something came loose.
Re: Anyone no someone that works on electrical?
ok will do,alsoi hear corrosion may be the problem since its an older boat.
Re: Anyone no someone that works on electrical?
If everything that is on your dash power switch is not working it is definitely the power supplied from the battery to your breaker panel or a fuse link on the red wiring leading to the power panel. I would first check all the wires connected to your starting battery and make sure that they are all connected and clean then tighten down good. If you have recently disconnected wires off the starting battery that is probably the culprit. Our bassboats do a lot of bouncing and have a lot of vibration and if your connections are not tight or your wire connectors are not properly attached to the terminal ends you can easily lose power. If your panel power switch has a light on it when you turn it on that will tell you right away if you have power going to it or not.
Hope this helps!
