52.75 final weight of the winning team for the two day ABA TOC.
Haven't seen full results. Will post when we see them.
Congratulation to Daiwa and Fishermans Warehouse pro Ish Monroe and partner Ryan Brewer.
The top-10 qualify to fish Sunday Oct 1 in the BassCat Shootout for a BassCat Boat.
That is held at Lake Sonoma and all weights are zeroed on Day 3 for the lake change.

Question:
So, does this disqualify Ish and Ryan from the New Jen TOC this weekend for fishing Clearlake during the off-limits period?
Aahh. I see. So Ish is not only a great angler, but also an excellent business man. Snatch up an easy $5700 and let the big sticks battle it out the following weekend for New Jen. Lol. Not to throw shade on anybody who fished ABA, but if you look at the qualify list for new jen, clearly the big guns were sitting this one out. But they still had to go out and sack up over 20 a day, so congrats guys!

He snatched up 2850... its a team event.. I would rather fish for boats... but that's just me..
Yes Ish and Ryan would be disqualified from fishing NewJen as anyone else is that was on the water at Clear Lake during the NewJen off-limits.
HOWEVER, from what we understand, AOY's from ABA regions auto qualified for the BassCat Shootout at Sonoma without having to qualify by making the top 10 at Clear Lake so those AOY teams could fish Sonoma without being on the water at Clear Lake.
Meaning they could fish for the boat at Sonoma with ABA (but not the two day ABA TOC at Clear Lake) and then still fish the NewJen TOC on Clear Lake. Again, that was just how we understood it. AND it would only be ABA region AOY teams.
And maybe techically one partner could have fished ABA Clear Lake, and then the other fish NewJen ABA Clear Lake? Not sure if there is any rule about fishing solo in either TOC?
Hey congrats to Ish and Ryan on an amazing win. I have to remember to ask them if they felt guilty fishing against all of those poor hacks like Mah, Austin, Keller, Farage, Johanson, Lockhart, Ostrander, Jolin and Burruss plus a bunch of other folks that decided to follow the ABA instead of NJ...I mean it took them a whole season to qualify for the TOC so it must be all about that easy money!
They won the TOC with a 2 day total of 52.75 pounds and got paid $5,700 to split, plus they got to fish on Sunday for a boat...you can't complain to much about that...right?
First of all, thanks Double G for the kind words. Next and the reason I finally made an account to post instead of just lurk.
Although I am not speaking for Ish, only myself, fishing the ABA TOC was a decision that wasn't based on who or how many we were fishing against. This was a situation where anglers were forced by NewJen to choose one TOC or the other.
For me, it was decision based on principle to support the organization that supports the anglers and it just didn't sit well that there couldn't be something worked out to give guy the opportunity to fish both events after they fished all year to qualify. But then thats just the opinion I came to after talking with them and getting the info that you read in the ABA letter.
ABA provided an awesome tournament regardless of how many showed up. AND after the 2 days TOC, ABA provided another tournament at no extra cost to fish for a boat on a different lake. That was the BassCat Shootout at Lake Sonoma. This was an additioanl separate tournament on top of the TOC that TOC top finishers and AOYs were invited to. A real invitational where you qualify by your finish and you don't pay anything extra to compete. And if we wanted to go to Arizona or PNW, ABA provides 3 TOCs and 3 BassCat shootouts for their anglers to fish, regardless of what area they qualify from.
By the way, something was said about the guys in the ABA TOC not being "big sticks", maybe you haven't fished against these guys, but that was pretty bold and rather insulting to them regardless if you meant to "throw shade" or not.
