Re: looking to buy a champion/ranger bass boat 19' to 20'

Jeff,
Call Rick Kinross at Robertson's Marine 800-994-4452. He has a 2009 that he is selling at an excellent price, you can view pictures on the website http://www.robertson-marine.com. He has not updated the price on the website so make sure and call him. He will treat you right.

Re: looking for a ranger boat

Deejay call Jimmy Wells 208-642-0346, not sure if he has exactly what you want. Talk to him about the EFI. He has a pretty strong opinion about them. Also, try Rick Kinross at Robertson's Marine http://www.robertson-marine.com. He might have something you are looking for.

BEWARE!!!

Wanted to warn everyone about buying anything from this guy. Bought some line from Ryan Elliott (deisel722003) 704-564-0043. He cashed the check December 9th and I have not received anything. Called several times and left a number of messages with no response. Don't buy anything from this guy.

Re: Help making HDS 7 and HDS 8 talk

Ken, I noticed that the blue connectors are on clearance. For the new HDS units, does the "backbone" consist of the red connectors now? Also, my understanding is that I need to power each HDS unit as well as power the network (through the backbone). I have power to each unit (bow and conso...

Re: Help making HDS 7 and HDS 8 talk

I would rather address issues on here so everyone will benefit. By "talk" between HDS units do you mean GPS or Sonar? If GPS, this is done via the NMEA backbone. You will need to go into the menu and check the appropriate items so the units know to share this information. Hit menu twice a...

I would like our local bait shop in NV to carry the bass patrol jigs. Does anyone know how to get a hold of their office or rep?
Thanks.

Cul-m-Rite scales

Has anyone replaced the battery themselves on a cul-m-rite? I have tried to contact AFT by email and phone with no response. I know that you are supposed to send the unit to them directly for battery replacement, but I don't to send mine to a defunct business.

Had the same problem. Put in at an angle with the motor in the corner. Once you find the sweet spot, I put black and yellow tape on the floor creating a "parking spot" then there is no guessing the next time.

justflipit,

I have asked the same question. I was told that if you go to a Janns Netcraft or Stamina lure components, they have a special paint just for plastics. You might try calling them if you don't see anything in their catalog.
