I couldn't agree more. This was the smoothest run open i've seen in the past 3 years that i've fished it. The pairing meeting was much quicker and smoother then years past and so was the weigh-in. Sorry we had a crappy day out there. I guess we should have ditched the reaction earlier and just went with the safe bet. I fished all the same areas Day 2 and was culling by 8:15, that lake frustrates me! Good luck!

Word on the street is alot of fish up on beds. Water temp around 60-61. Alot of the fish up are smaller quite a few 3-4lbers but some big ones caught last week as well up 11. I would sight fish or throw a DS 10-15ft. Hope this helps.

Fishing will be awesome then but there are a few tournaments going on that day so it will be chaos with tournament anglers just a heads up. MBC has a 2 day pro am and the NBW 2 day open is that weekend as well.
