Area around Nellis is not bad because there is a lot of cops. I have stayed out there many times with no problems.

Plus the HP is a gated secured park...very nice.

I would stay up by Nellis AFB. I am just trying to get some stuff together before i start bugging people to let me occupy thier backseat

I am just starting out so i dont know what to start with(Heavy or light rods). I will be fishing Mead and Mojave mostly. The only rods I really know about are G-Loomis and to get a good set of those i think i will need to sell my kidney and maybe my first born.

I want to start fishing some tournaments...what rod and reel combos should I start with. I dont want to buy junk but I don't want to take a 2nd mortgage on my house either. Any info would be great!!!
