Re: Whats up with the dude in pink ??
Kevin Short has gone with pink for the very reason you ask, it is memorable. As far as I know from interviews he stated that he likes the color and thinks it makes him unique. It is for the most part a marketing tactic. Look at Skeet Reese, yellow boat, yellow shirt, yellow shoes, and yellow Skeet s...

No late fee for the first event is great for those of us who still think it is 2007.

There is still plenty of time to sign up if you have not already done so. Don't get caught on the sidelines wishing you were fishing the upcoming TOC in November. The top 20 Pros and Ams from the Delta Division PLUS The top 20 Pros and Ams from the Motherlode Divison PLUS The top 10 Pros and Ams fro...

This is a great one day pro-am circuit on the Delta. This is also a great opportunity for anglers to test their skills and learn from others in a one-day Pro-Am format. Entries are due by this Thursday in order to escape the late fee. Entries on the day of the tournament are also welcome. So come ou...
Re: EXAMS
I am in my 30's and in law school. Yes it's never to late to learn some new tricks. I came on here to take a study break to get away from school and noticed this post. Tolling motor repair near Oroville??? Need info ASAP
A friend of mine is pre-fishing Oroville for the FPT tourney tomorrow. His trolling motor just went out. Where's the nearest trolling repair shop to Lake Oroville?
Thanks in advance

Keep up the heat Skeet
Never before have I wanted to see someone come out on top before. Not only is Skeet a good stick, he is passionate, a family man, and isn't afraid to share his emotions.

'08 Rangers, Ranger pros chime in
I heard the rumors and now see the reality of the boat line changes made by Ranger for the 2008 line-up. Looks like the 520 is now a Z-series like boat and called the 620. They took the 519 out and made it the 598vx or something like that. Since the Ranger website appears in transition to fully show...

Martino: Regardless if it is a raffle or lottery, it is illegal. The State could potentially charge you with one or possibly more misdemeanors. The State may also seize your boat and funds collected if you are caught. If you want to swim through the legal jargon here is the link to the CA penal code...

The Merc Opti 200 ProXS is new this year. It is out on the East coast and due out here in the next two to three months. Merc has not updated their webpage with the new motor. I heard you can order a new boat with them starting this month.

I live in San Ramon about 15 miles from where it was centered. I actually heard the quack about 5-10 seconds before our house started shaking and was able to get my wife and son of the couch out of our living room and into the front doorway before the house started to shake. My wife was freeked out ...

Question to all:
Once you have located the fish you need to be able to execute. What is the most important aspect of execution in bass fishing and how do you practice to improve on it?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Re: Poachers arrested!
Under CA law you have a right as a citizen to make a lawful arrest of a person who is in the process of committing a felony. I am not condoning taking the law into your own hands but I think the 5 day wait period may be reduced to minutes if you call the tip line or the police and state that you hav...

Re: Poachers arrested!
The bird is in our hands as anglers on the water. I continually am amazed about the lack of resources to enforce CA regulations, not only DFG regulations but also traffic and criminal statutes. As anglers we should act similiar to neighborhood watch organizations. The waters belong to us all and leg...

Good luck guys at the Stren Championship
Tomorrow is the kick off to the Stren Series Championship. The next four days could well be a launching pad into serious professional bass angling for one or several of our fellow western anglers. At this event the anglers out west will show the rest of the national anglers how we do it out west. Le...

.
Great marketing tacktics by the way!

Been there done that! I moved up to Kirkland 5 years ago from the bay area and returnd back to CA last year. Bank fishing is very limited. Get a float tube or pontune boat. Lake Sammamish in the north end by Marymoor Park is a good place or even in the south end at the State Park is good. Lake Washi...

The cost of doing bass business
I continue to ask myself how much does it cost to be a tournemant bass angler in CA and where are the anglers finding the funds to fish. I put together some number to demonstrate the cost of doing bass business. *Assumptions: For months fished: gas=$3.00, 1 tourney per month = $250 8 months out of t...
