Re: Elite anglers talk about the western swing
I would launch at B&W, Brandon island area and on Sunday you can check basstrack on the bassmaster site to find out where exactly the pros are fishing (not sure if they have it available for Saturday too)

Re: elites vs "locals"
I never said anything about the elites own the water, people should give them the spots or the elites should have priority over the locals. What I pointed out in my original post was that we have the 2 biggest (money wise) tournaments on the delta at the same time, which could have easily been avoid...

Jerred, what if it's the other way around and you have a chance to win on Sunday and get to your spot and have an elite guy sitting on it and whack in them? Sure we will always run into those situations but why not try to avoid them? I personally blame both sides and think it's just stupid to compet...

I think it's also bad business for the local tournaments, especially if you are fishing for a truck. just imagine you found your fish in pre-fishing and think you have a legit shot just to find out that an elite guy was pounding your water the previous 2 days and might be in there with you for the n...

So we have the elites fishing for $100k and a local tournament fishing for a new car on the same weekend!?!
That could get interesting very quick
Wondering if there wasn't a way to avoid that

it's definitely a sport but as mentioned before, it's hard to present it to an audience on TV when you have an 8+ hour day of fishing spread over an entire lake/river. But I think that's also why I think the live coverage they had of the classic is going to be a game changer. Internet promotion and ...

Ok, so I decided to go to berryessa. Water in the narrows is still clear and main lake is just a little stained. Just installed mine (really easy). Only went out twice yet, but love them so far. Don't see any difference un-/loading to carpet. I have black gatorbaks and a white hull. I have a HB 798 DI/SI. What are the settings you recommend to see the lure like a drops in the graph like the image in Triton Mikes post?
