First, are Splittails on the endangered list?
What some good areas or spots to fish for them?
Do they live in the tules? Weed edges? Etc
Can I use them as bait to catch stripers?

I have to agree with both sides. You should try and get as much money as you can for the bait. However I think you can get $200 or so give or take. Good luck with the sale.

Most reports still say its slow but if you can find the right pod in the right spot, there are some bigger fish to be had.

Re: Delta - Driving in the dark
Good question.
Are you going to make that run for the bassfest tourney? I was thinking about doing the same thing. Russo's is a forever drive for me.
Is there a lot of hazards I'm franks track. I don't fish franks very often so I'm not that familiar.

Re: Hope this is true Re-Release of the Vixen
I own no vixens and none of the frogs. I've obviously heard good things about both but was skeptical when I heard the news of the re release. I ordered a couple of the frogs and 4 vixens. I'm hoping they are identical to the originals so I can experience the hype first hand. If anyone cares to enlig...

Thanks for the advice. I already went up but plan on making another trip soon . I will try the techniques you suggested. After my first trip it is clear that i have a lot to learn. I just bought an HDS 7 off a guy and it comes with the gimbal mount. My previous unit was flush in the bow of the boat (i'm thinking of just putting it back and ignoring it). Anyways, my boat gets parked in the garage after every trip (no over nighters yet), is it worth it to buy a Ram mount? If you...

Lowrance HDS Gen 1 vs Gen 2
In the market for a new fish finder/GPS Just wondering what the opinions are about generation 1 vs generation 2. Question about Options in Tourney
I feel stupid asking this but I'm new to the scene.
How do the options that are called $20 option, $30 option, and stuff like that work.
I'm very new to fishing tourney's and have no clue what all the options are and what they mean.
