Most teams had reported that they had a tough day again, and the weights showed it. Water temps dropped into the 52 degree range with the water still fairly clear! Teams reported catching their fish on Reaction baits, Shaky head, Jigs, and a few on the A-rig. Most teams are still fishing in the main lake and narrows!

Odds-on favorite Josh Parris, RBBass member and resident of the nearby San Andreas area, came bolting out of the gate on day one, and leads the pack with a limit that posted 19.70 pounds, as he hopes to hold off a swarm of strong contenders like northern region anglers of the year Mike Caddick and Tyson Rappaleye, who also had a 19 pound bag.
