Toyota Angler Of The Year Championship Bound For Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin
The nation's top bass anglers will compete for more than $1 million in payouts and berths in the 2016 Bassmaster Classic during the 2015 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship, Sept. 17-20, on Sturgeon Bay out of Door County, Wis. Bassmaster Elite Series pro Aaron Martens clinched his third AOY title early after earning enough points at Detroit's Lake St. Clair event.

Some of America’s top-ranked bass fisheries — plus a new wrinkle in tournament formats and an extra event — await the nation’s top professional bass anglers competing in the 2016 Bassmaster Elite Series. The lineup will take anglers to 10 fisheries in nine states, and it includes 10 Elite events, an increase from nine Elite tournaments in 2015.

DELTA TUNNELS Project Violates Endangered Species Act, Will Hurt Imperiled Salmon, Groups Warn
SACRAMENTO, Calif.— Conservation groups warned state and federal regulators today that the Delta Water Tunnels project (the so-called “California Water Fix”) to build massive tunnels to divert water from the Sacramento River to the Central Valley and State Water Projects cannot be permitted under the Endangered Species Act because it would adversely affect protected critical habitat for endangered salmon runs and other imperiled fish species in the Bay-Delta and Sacramento River.
