    Idaho Panhandle Bass Club - Moses Lake

    The Idaho Panhandle Bass Club kicked off their season in neighboring Washington on Moses Lake. This is a traditional first stop for them and as usual the fishing was excellent early in the year. Just over a week before this event, the lake was covered with ice and last weekend it took bags in the high teens to win each day.

    The FPT’s new Gone Fishin Marine Youth Division, saw several high school/youth teams come out to enjoy the opening season fun and “represent” for their respective high schools and youth bass clubs, as the Future Pro Tour has always been about developing angler skills. These “young guns” flexed their skills, and clearly demonstrated - with outstanding performances, that they are truly the future of our sport.

    This was our first time ever hitting Silver Lake and it was our best ever tournament for big bags of fish. The weigh-in was a steady stream of solid bags and big fish being weighed. We timed it perfectly and the fish were biting all over the lake and with a variety of techniques.

    Sanger High School Wins Berkley High School Fishing Challenge

    COLUMBIA, S.C.  - Sanger High School recently won the 2015 Berkley High School Fishing Club Challenge. The challenge saw over 1,300 active participants and 174 high schools across 27 states were represented. As the newly crowned champions, Sanger High School in Sanger, Texas will receive $4,000 in prizes for the entire club.
