FLW to Sign Sanctioning Agreement for Tournaments in Mexico
FLW, the world's largest tournament-fishing organization, is set to sign an agreement with Mexico to bring their internationally sanctioned bass-fishing tournaments to the United States' southern neighbor as part of the international division of the Rayovac FLW Series. The agreement will be signed by Jaime Luengo, President and CEO of LUTCOM SA DE CV, at a scheduled signing during the "FLW Morning Show" on the morning of August 21st at the Forrest Wood Cup.

Browne Wins FLW Event on Lake Champlain
A lot would have had to happen for Glenn Browne to relinquish his hard-earned lead on the final day of the Rayovac FLW Series event presented by Plano on Lake Champlain. It turned out that a lot did happen, but with help from his friends and a great pattern, Glenn Browne socked 18 pounds, 7 ounces on the final day for a 63-pound, 8-ounce total and a payday of $34,097 plus a new Ranger Z518 with a 200-hp outboard.

While most teams rely on trolling techniques when fishing the recent Tri-State Canyon Shoot-Out, Captains Jack Sprengel and Lou DeFusco had other ideas for Team 'Something's Fishy'. Along with boat owners Frank Will and Karen Fish Will and anglers Sandra and Kevin Fish, the team instead went the unconventional route using poppers and jigs, all rigged on Shimano's brand new Twin Power 14000SW spinning reels – spooled with 65-pound PowerPro - and mounted on new Ocea Plugger Flex Limited spinning rods.
