Just when we thought that things were going to get back to normal, our new friend Omicron showed up in the world, adding new layers of uncertainty. We’re not doctors or scientists so we cannot tell you what it all means. However, we are fishing addicts, and we’ve been fortunate to travel safely throughout the pandemic, and intend to continue to do so as long as reasonably possible.

NOAA has released a Guidance for Considering the Use of Living Shorelines, which outlines how we promote living shorelines as a shoreline stabilization technique. Along sheltered coasts, living shorelines can preserve and improve habitats and the benefits they provide and promote resilient communities
