Free Online Boating Courses This Week Through March 24
Next week, Mar. 18-24, is a great time to take a boating safety course. Why? It’s perfect timing just before the start of the boating and fishing season and the week-long ‘Spring Aboard’ public service campaign makes it easy for boaters to take a boating safety course. The educational effort is a partnership of the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), government, and nonprofit partners including the BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water.

Most teams had reported that they had a tough day again, and the weights showed it. Water temps dropped into the 52 degree range with the water still fairly clear! Teams reported catching their fish on Reaction baits, Shaky head, Jigs, and a few on the A-rig. Most teams are still fishing in the main lake and narrows!

Weekend Striper Report | March 3
Went out on Friday during the storms. It dumped rain off and on, but we stuck it out. Started off throwing the big glide baits for nada. Topwater...nada. Small swimbaits...nada. Finally took a look at the water temp and it was 49.5!

Black bass bite has toughened a bit with cooler muddy conditions. Black Blue Fizzles, Swim Jigs and FatSack jigs are great options while spinnerbaits get the mentioned as well. Hematoma Beavers on over cast days also working well. We found a few Stripers and Black Bass with Savage Glide Baits and Red Eye Shad.
