5 Rescued at Lake Oroville from Boat Crash; at least 1 dead
One person is confirmed dead after a search and rescue from a possible boat crash in Lake Oroville, Sunday afternoon. Five people were rescued, three of them were transported by EMS for medical treatment.

Got launched at about 6:20 am, off the lake at 10 am, and to my surprise, 95% of the wood had been cleaned up and no issue at all launching, have never seen it this clean this time of year as the water comes up.

CDFW Releases Thousands of Steelhead into Oroville Afterbay
The practice of stocking the Afterbay with steelhead that are in excess of the Feather River allotment of 400,000 fish started in 2006 and has been very successful when the fish are available.

Oroville Spillways Phase 2 Update Mid-February 2018 | Video
The crew pours concrete for the top section of the cut-off-wall that will connect to the splashpad. A section of ground near the lower spillway is removed for a new road. Work continues between the emergency spillway weir and cut-off-wall, prepping the ground for the splashpad.
