Fishing Report Oroville Lake This Week | October 17
Got launched early at 6:35 am today, when the wind glows and blows at Bidwell marine ramp, windiest ramp in the N. State in the early mornings, stopped fishing right at 10:30 am. Fished the same exact location as last trip and fish were still holding in the steep rocky area at the south side at potters ravine cove.

Year-round Boat Ramp Coming to Oroville
A Department of Water Resources plan to replace the ramps with some lanes that would go as low as 700 feet, has been approved by federal regulators at Lake Oroville.

Oroville Dam spillway reconstruction expected to end before rainy season
The Department of Water Resources said it's on track to a have a fully functional primary spillway by its self-imposed Nov. 1 – just before the rainy season begins. The rebuilt spillway will be capable of handling water releases of 100,000 cubic feet per second. Additionally, crews working on the emergency spillway are focused on the reconstruction of a cut-off wall. That is scheduled to be finished by January.

Oroville Spillway Update August 22, 2017 | CDWR
Steel beams are installed for the upper spillway walls. Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) continues going in on the middle spillway. Crews prepare the area between the upper and lower chute for RCC by filling the crevasses with dental concrete. Rebar mats are set for structural concrete on the lower spillway.
