Lenz Named Collegiate Tour Angler of the Year
This week Raymarine pro ambassador Dawson Lenz earned college fishing's highest honor by being named the FishLife Collegiate Series Angler of the Year. Lenz, a senior captain at the University of North Alabama, earned the honor after using Raymarine's a97 and a98 to help lead the Lions' Bass Fishing club team to first place in FishLife's Collegiate Tour points title.

FLW Announces Key Changes for 2016 FLW Tour
FLW announced Thursday its planned enhancements and key changes for the 2016 Walmart FLW Tour season. Among the major changes are the addition of two fall FLW Tour Invitational tournaments and changes to Rule No. 19 to now allow competitors to fish in their own wrapped boats on all four days of FLW Tour competition.

For the first time in his storied career, pro Scott Martin of Clewiston, Florida, wrapped up the Angler of the Year title and Pro Zack Birge of Blanchard, Oklahoma, clinched the 2015 Walmart FLW Tour Rookie of the Year award.

His resume, beyond being one of the most feared anglers on Tour, included two second place finishes in his last two major events held on the lake. His final day's total of five bass weighing 15 pounds, 5 ounces was enough to propel him to the fourth FLW Tour victory of his career and a $125,000 payday.
