The Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) brings its inaugural year-end championship, the Lucas Oil Western Classic presented by the City of Henderson, to Lake Mead on Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, 2016.

TODD WOODS WINS FLW SERIES WESTERN DIVISION EVENT ON CLEAR LAKE
LAKEPORT, Calif. – Todd Woods of San Dimas, California, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to win the Costa FLW Series Western Division event on Clear Lake presented by Mercury with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 77 pounds even. For his win, Woods took home $33,002.

Brown Wins B.A.S.S. Western Regional On Lake Mead
Bill Brown of Grand Junction, Colo., representing the Utah B.A.S.S. Nation remained atop the leaderboard for three days to win the boater division of the Academy Sports + Outdoors B.A.S.S. Nation Western Regional presented by Magellan Outdoors.

Bill Brown of Grand Junction, Colo., maintains the lead on Day 2 of the the Academy Sports + Outdoors B.A.S.S. Nation Western Divisional presented by Magellan Outdoors on Lake Mead held out of Henderson, Nev., after bringing in 13 pounds, 6 ounces for a two-day total weight of 34-1.

Western Anglers at the 2016 Bassmaster Classic
The 2016 Bassmaster Classic featured 55 of the world’s best bass anglers. Grand Lake in Oklahoma was the host of the event and it featured 11 anglers who either live in the western states or began their careers here. Joe Uribe Jr., of Surprise, Arizona, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division event on Clear Lake presented by Evinrude with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 66 pounds, 10 ounces. For his victory, Uribe earned $28,851 and a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard motor
