To prevent a mishap while putting the boat away this fall, Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS), a boating advocacy, services and safety group offers the free 15-page "Boater's Guide to Winterizing."

3 Winter Approaches to a Year-Round Bait
With the slowing of the bass’ metabolism, fish will seek out and attack food very slowly. Finding Bass in Dying Vegetation #FBF
The biggest struggle in winter is not how to catch bass but finding where they are. This time of year, the greenery of highly populated vegetation has died off or gone dormant. When vegetation dies, it depletes oxygen levels and fish generally leave this area for more suitable living conditions. #FBF
