Yamaha Donates Outboards to Alabama Fire Departments
Yamaha Marine Group announces the donation of two F90 outboards to the Stevenson, Alabama, Fire Department, and one F150 outboard to the Bridgeport (AL) Fire Department. Both fire departments will use the donated outboards to assist in search and rescue on the Tennessee River and surrounding lakes.

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. announces the acquisition of Bennett Marine, Inc., creator of the adjustable trim tab. The company is known for hydraulic trim tab systems and the recently launched Bolt electric trim tab and AutoTrim Pro systems. With its manufacturing facility and headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Fla., Bennett Marine will become a part of Yamaha's newly created subsidiary, Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc., (hereafter "YMSC").

Yamaha Endorses Ocean Debris Cleanup Bill
Save Our Seas Act is Good for Boaters, Anglers, and Coastal Communities KENNESAW, Ga.--Yamaha Marine Group today announced its endorsement of S. 756, the bipartisan Save Our Seas Act, which was introduced in the U.S. Senate by Senators Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), and Cory Booker (D-NJ.) The bill aims to strengthen research and international coordination of anti-debris efforts to protect America's oceans, coastlines, and inland waterways. In addition to reauthorizing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA®) Marine Debris Program, the bill allows for additional funding to assist with debris cleanup, and encourages the executive branch to engage with the nations responsible for the majority of marine debris.

San Bernardino National Forest Gets Rehab Assistance from Yamaha Volunteers
Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, employees returned to the San Bernardino National Forest this past weekend to volunteer their time in support of projects aiding the fire-damaged OHV trails within the Trestles / Baldy Mesa OHV staging area. Working with members of the Southern California Mountains Foundation (SCMF) and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), the effort continued a nearly ten-year tradition of Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative volunteer projects in one of the nation's most frequently visited forests.
