Southern Lure’s Iconic Scum Frog™ and Bass Rat™ Brands Positioned for Growth with New Investment in Product Design and Marketing

Ocean Springs, MS – American Baitworks Co.™ is pleased to announce the company has acquired Southern Lure Company.

Southern Lure Company is an iconic company and one of the pioneering brands in the industry with 30+ years of designing and developing frogs, rats and other products for topwater fishing.

Through the acquisition of Southern Lure Co., Justin Sward has been named to the role of Senior Vice President of American Baitworks Co.. The company will make significant investments in new product development as well as sales and marketing to introduce the Scum Frog and Bass Rat brands to a new generation of anglers.
