Strike King Big Bass Challenge

Rather Outdoors announces the formation of a series of big bass format tournaments coming in 2021. The Strike King Big Bass Challenge will feature four events across the nation on some of the most well-known big bass fisheries in the country. The series will be one-day events with four two-hour weigh-in periods and guaranteed payouts based on field size.

Strike King is excited to introduce this series of events that will allow anglers of every level to compete in a fun atmosphere that will be both challenging and rewarding. Whether you are a hard-core tournament angler, want to be one, or looking for something to do with a friend or family member, Strike King Big Bass Challenge events will be a great place to accomplish all of these goals.

Strike King Big Bass Challenge will guarantee a minimum $7,500 total cash payout based upon a 100-angler field, with growing payouts as entry numbers increase. Each event will feature a one-day format with four weigh-in periods of two hours. Every two-hour weigh period will pay out five places for the five biggest bass in that period. On top of that, every angler that weighs a fish in those periods will be entered into a drawing for product prizes from Strike King, Lew’s, Lucas Oil, Mammoth Coolers and Black Rifle Coffee Co.

The biggest bass weighed during the day will receive the grand prize bonus – a “total boat makeover” prize package voucher for $5,000 worth of Lew’s and Strike King product. The first 100 anglers registered for each event will receive a free Lew’s rod valued at $49.99, which will be available for pickup at onsite check-in and rules briefing the night prior to the event where anglers will also have the opportunity to meet nationally known Strike King Pros from the MLF Bass Pro Tour, MLF Pro Circuit and Bassmaster Elite Series.

Rather Outdoors’ Vice President of Marketing, Jason McKee said that the team at Strike King is extremely excited about launching this new series of events in 2021. “While we recognized that there are a multitude of tournament trails out there for anglers, our goal behind the Big Bass Challenge events was to bring anglers together in a manner that was open and available to anyone, no matter his/her experience level,” said McKee. “Ultimately, we wanted the opportunity to share our passion as anglers with our consumers, get to know them, and present yet another opportunity for them to get on the water. We’re extremely excited about these events and consider it an honor to be able to create more opportunities on the water for fellow anglers.”

Information including entry fees, rules and registration will be available with complete event details in early January 2021 at http://www.strikeking.com.
