COAST GUARD FOUNDATION TO RECOGNIZE HEROISM AND MISSION EXCELLENCE
The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the education and welfare of all Coast Guard members and their families, announced today that its annual Tribute to the United States Coast Guard in Houston will be held at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. At the event, the Foundation will recognize Coast Guard Air Station Houston aircrew CGNR 6581. In addition, the 2017 Guardian Award will be presented to ConocoPhillips, a Houston-based oil and natural gas producing company. Admiral Paul F. Zukunft, Commandant of the Coast Guard, will deliver keynote remarks.

Texas Team Trail Ends Season with Championship on Lake Livingston
The Texas Team Trail (TXTT) presented by Cabela's will host its 2017 championship event on June 3-4, at Lake Livingston. The two-day event wraps up the 2017 will determine the Lucas Oil Team of the Year.

B.A.S.S. Pro Angler Meet and Greet at Wal-Mart
FORT SMITH, Ark. – BOOYAH® and YUM® pro-anglers Jason Christie, Alton Jones, Alton Jones Jr. and Stetson Blaylock will appear at the Wal-Mart Super Center (2409 E. Main St., Russellville, Arkansas 72802). These Bassmaster Elite Series pros will be on hand to sign autographs, meet fans and answer questions. The event will take place in the sporting goods section from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on May 29 2017.

C.A.S.T. for kids Lake Shasta
I am the Western Program Director for the Catch a Special Thrill Foundation. We have an event upcoming on Lake Shasta June 10, 2017. We are in need of more boater volunteers for the event. These boater volunteers would donate 2-4 hours of their time that morning to take a special needs child and a parent or guardian out for a couple hours fishing. They would then stay and have lunch with the kids and cheer for them on during the awards ceremony. I have a flyer made for the event that i can send you to help us advertise the event. High School All-American Anglers Compete With Pros On Trophy Bass Lake In Texas
When Reese Jones of Rogers, Ark., received notice that he had been selected as one of 12 members of the 2017 Bassmaster High School All-American Fishing Team presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods, he was ecstatic. Winning the honor meant he would be able to fish with a Bassmaster Elite Series pro during a special tournament in conjunction with the Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefiting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

HUNTER SCHLANDER WINS FLW SERIES WESTERN DIVISION TOURNAMENT ON CALIFORNIA DELTA
Boater Hunter Schlander of Modesto, California, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday to win the Costa FLW Series Western Division tournament on the California Delta presented by Power-Pole. Schlander’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 57 pounds, 1 ounce was enough to earn him $81,668, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.
