Angler Wish List
As a rule, I like new tackle and gear, but when I walked the aisles of Outdoor Pro Shop, Fisherman's Warehouse, or any other tackle shop, I made a bee line for what I needed; usually some sort of terminal tackle item, walked to the cash register, checked out and left the store. #TBT

Knot How-To: Surgeon's Knot - SpiderWire
The Surgeon's Knot is easy to tie and is useful to join two lines of moderately unequal size, e.g., a tippet to a leader. Always moisten your line with saliva or water before pulling tight. This is especially important on fluorocarbon lines that are easily damaged by heat from friction. Always moisten your line with saliva or water before pulling tight. The Need for Better Crankbaits
About 100 yards off the end of my dock is a weed bed that holds fish year-round. Local anglers know it, so I wasn’t surprised yesterday when three different boats fished it in the time it took me to eat breakfast (bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and a grapefruit), another five hit it before lunch, and nine more hit it from dinnertime on.
