Re: Castaic Lagoon dock
Been like that since oct 2007 when it was overstressed by the high winds. For some stupid reason they towed off the broken sections to the dock in PC... I doubt they're going to do anything to it in the near future.

''For all The LMVA Members out there!'' I believe he said for all the lake members out there. If it doesn't pertain to you or you don't fish it, then relax. He was just passing on some info. Interesting feedback guys. Good point on the stripes knocking the bait first too... but when you get 5blow-ups on the same cast by what seems to be the same fish (stripe)... it can get really frustrating. There was one afternoon when a friend of mine had fish blow-up 20 times on various swimmers... ...

Hey guys, Just out of curiosity, what would you guess the weight of the fish? When I lipped her, we were thinking it to be max at 8+ish even though she had a mean gut. I wonder if they do growth rate studies at DV because it seems that these fish are just thick and dense when compared to fish at oth...

All of those toady fish came on the SB I should mention. But then again, that niche is all a bunch hype and just a waste of money. You'd be better off with 10 packs of kreatures.

Re: DVL Bass?
Sinjin, Big ones are being caught on a regular basis. I promise you that one for sure. Maybe not as much by the 'five alive' crowd but it's happening. most the time the bigger fish are territorial this time of year.. Majority of sb bites you will get right now are purely defensive, hence the short strikes.. when they want it the whole thing is down there throat.. In regards to the bass derby on Sunday. A 1 pound penalty for a dead bass? How about a dead bass will not be weighed in - it won't count toward any award.
