I just took another look at some size 4 trebles... and Whoa! they are small, I don't see how effective they could be at providing a good hook up but I'm sure I read somewhere that was what Mike Long uses.

I know that ML said he uses a single size 4 treble right above the eyes... isn't that way too small?

There is also that fish chris method which seems good. Most rigging methods I've seen are with hooks 1/0 or bigger.
