There's a bacteria that's infecting the fish, apparently it's always there it's just when the water got so warm the fish became susceptible. There's a tourney out of Bidwell on sunday so try the spillway ramp. It is supposed to be much cooler so the lake shouldn't be as busy. Watch out for debris. The lake has been red hot, so anywhere should be as good as another.

There is also a DWR phone number that is recorded around 8am each morning that is for lake conditions on oroville, flow releases and the afterbay. 530-534-2307. The conditions are usually for what's happening around midnight.
