WWBT-Lake Mohave Thursday Meeting

I'm looking for a ride up from cottonwood cove marina to henderson (and back) for the registration and meeting on Thursday, I'm staying in my camper and once it's set-up, I'd like to not have to move it. Thanks much and certainly willing to throw in some fuel money.

Re: Thermalito Afterbay or Forebay?

The afterbay is open from one hour before sunrise to hour after sunset and the pump back operations are no longer, there is quite a current at the 162 bridge when there is significant flow going thru the outlet back to the river and can get alot of chop when there is also a strong south wind. Honesty runs in about 99% of us, but it's what that 1% can do in the way of damage that Clunn is referring to. I have to agree, at some point BASS is going to get that "hickey" he mentioned.

Re: What's with the bass at Oroville? They look very sick

There's a bacteria that's infecting the fish, apparently it's always there it's just when the water got so warm the fish became susceptible. It's supposedly not lethal and as the water cools down the fish should recover. It does look pretty nasty. The lake quite low but was another forty feet down 3...

There is also a DWR phone number that is recorded around 8am each morning that is for lake conditions on oroville, flow releases and the afterbay. 530-534-2307. The conditions are usually for what's happening around midnight.
