Selling water good business farming should be number one in this state. I've been fishing many year here in the central valley. What there doing is nothing new. If you want too change it vote Republican and turn the state around. Year after year same thing go on and people complain. Build more dams...

The State Legislature did it's job, it passed SB 1, and sent to Newsom's desk. He says he'll veto it. He is a back stabbing hypocrite. The Feds are trying to steal the State's water for the San Joaquin farmers.
"The state can stop this water grab by adopting SB 1. Without that legislation, there is a good chance Gov. Newsom will see extinctions during his tenure."
Put pressure on your State elected officials to back SB 1.

I drove down into Pyramid while it was being built, with my wife and kids in our '69 Ford window wagon. Little did I realize that I would be floating over the same areas 30+ years later.

The one thing that harms the Delta and agriculture is salt water intrusion. Reduce the fresh water flow pressure and the ocean salt water pushes into the areas water supply. Wells are now down to 150', 50 years ago they were 50', that is how low the underground aquifer is today, ominous situation. ...

Before thecFeather River project the San Juaqine Valley was farmed by hundreds if not thousands of small independant family owned farms who got thier water from wells. Mark - I'm no Trump supporter - but to be fair and balanced the California Legislators have all but turned their backs on the environmental impacts of water diversion long before the current president took office.
