The Bigger Picture with MWD buying those islands are just to develop that is a small if any significance. Buy purchasing the land it entitles them to water rights - thats the $$$ Ill make a bigger prediction that they end up declaring some of those islands as "restored habitat" and market...

Be sure to use stranded copper wire, not solid and not aluminum. Electricity travels on the surface of a wire, and stranded has a lot more surface, plus it is much less prone to metal fatigue breakage from vibration.

Remember that the inside of the hull is not finished, so check first, and tape over sharp edges and rough spots.

I keep all my store bought plastics in their original bags, and store the bags in either gallon zip lock bags or the 3731 Plano boxes, sorted by type of bait and labeled on the top and the front edge.

The river should have plenty of water without taking it from Casitas' watershed, since Castaic is required by law to release any rain water it receives from it's watershed.

Don't use a rod with micro guides for a braid to leader setup. The knot will catch, either ruining your cast or breaking off your bait.
