it seems like every year we read of stories of guys shore fishing for trout using power bait and catch monster bass. Those monster bass are there probably looking for trout, see one who is pre-occupied by a cheese ball and gets a gill flare - the trout gets away and the bass sucks in the trout bait...

For me, it's like hunting, but I don't have to kill anything. Same thrill of the stalk and execution, solving the problem.

I'm disappointed that I would have to pay to get the channel to watch MLF. Also disappointed that the pro's had to choose one or the other. Not sure what fishing I will be able to see on TV this year. I guess I will just go fishing on Saturdays instead :-). It is set up to make money, not to entert...

They record several shows then put them on. Right ?

They compete in the spring, and then are broadcast at the end of the year.

I read here years ago that backing up onto two trash bags for each side of the trailer, one bag per wheel, will make moving the trailer easier. The two layers of plastic make a very slippery surface. Don't ask me how I know, but it is true. :lol:

You can replace the bunks yourself. First, make sure you can remove the mounting hardware. You can do that in your driveway, with the boat on the trailer, as long as you do one at a time, and reinstall one before you remove the next. Buy true pressure treated lumber the same size as your bunk boards...

The biggest barrier in getting BASS and BPT come to the west coast is distance, and the Rocky Mountains.
It is just too expensive for the competing anglers to make the trek, unless they are subsidized by their respective tours, and I don't see that happening.
