Just a heads up on batteries, Costco sells group 27 interstate marine batteries and Sam's club sells Duracell group 31 marine batteries for $179.00 with an 18 month warranty.

I currently run Interstates group 31 with a 36 month warranty. RR

I would suggest Dan as well if you want to keep them. I have the old stradic's and Dan has kept them going at a very reasonable price. Consider looking at these Diawa reels. I back reel fish as opposed to always worrying about the drag settings and Shimano removed the anti reverse switch feature on ...

Thanks for the info, it was really strange to see the river literally rise rapidly without much rain etc. Melonies was only down .14 today and Tulloch up .67. I must be reading something wrong on the lake levels.
