Re: We have lost a very dear friend
That is a true loss. He was a great friend. He and I were in the West Valley Bassmasters together for years. What a hoot ! He had a great sense of humor and always a smile when he greated you. You could hear his laugh across the pond and knew it was Dave. We lost Val White from Action Tackle in Dece...

Re: Yamaha Vmax Prop Blade Crack
Dont get to upset...Like Gary at True Pitch said ...its common. It happens all the time. We have seen hundreds of them over the years. Your lucky you caught it before the blade let loose. We have had all sorts of claims on hull and motors for the repair of the chunks that thay take out when the let ...

Re: New US Reel flip/pitch reel
They are working on it ! They are a start up company with a great new product. I heard that they are in the process of making a spinning reel that will compete and then the Left hander. Keep watching.

Re: Looking for a concensus, IF there is one on line test...
George Sight fishing isn't rocket science. Its a short pitch to a fish locked in to protect a small area in a lake. Most times next to some sort of structure or brush. The fish will let you know what it will eat real quick. As you can see ...they are saying use anything from 6 lb to 25 lb, from flor...

Re: New US Reel flip/pitch reel
The US Reels are made in China...go figure. I havent had the chance to use one of them yet. The Ardent reels on the other hand I have used there baitcasters and love them. The new flip/pitch reel is a step away from what we are used to. No level wind ... No star drag, it is pre set at 28 LBS of drag...

Re: Save our fisheries-very important please read
You couldn't more correct in all aspects. We are already behind on this. We need every fisherman of any type to be on the same page with this.. We will have to get a seprate web site for everybody to log into that we can get the names to the people that are fighting the battle for us already. The ba...

Re: NEW ROD ADVICE
The St Croix Avid 6' 8" is a great choice. The Avid series maybe the best rod on the market for the money. Their technology at St Croix is way ahead of the rest the industry, and they dont skimp on the components. It has a light enough tip for good presentation and still has plenty of back bone...

Good Luck at the Open.

Re: Straightening grub tails
Boil some water in a small pot. Dip the grub tail in the boiling water for a few. It will soften the plastic enough to take the kink out. Then lay it flat until it cools and you should be in business. You can do the same treatment on any plastic baits that you might want to either strighten out, or ...
