These are not the best areas to leave anything of value in your truck or boat overnight.

Re: I hear Diamond Valley Lake is opening
If you are fishing solo from your own boat be prepared to pay $30 for the day there including tag for return without inspection.About double the fees for other lakes in the area.

Re: Important Wild West tour!!!! All Please read
I did not know about any of that fb stuff but was wondering if the shortage of co-anglers had to do with the fear of being backseated. It seems like the events with the shared weight format usually has a surplus of co's don't they? It would be good to hear from the co's that actually fished Pleasant ...

Re: Any word on DVL?
Drove out there a week ago to take a look at ramp.It was extended and is not far from waters edge.I estimate that a 10-15' rise in depth would make it usable. This lake gets no real benefit from rainfall. The water is pumped in.The Sierra snowpack is above normal so maybe the lake will get some water ...

Re: Latest on DVL?
Maybe if the lake did not hike all the rental, parking, and permit fees before the ramp closed they would have some business. There were 8 cars in the parking lot on a recent Friday according to newspaper article.Article said the ramp will be extended 60',not 120' as planned. This is because lake level ...

San Vicente
Any news on when it will open?I looked at it on Google Earth and everything looks ready to go from above.Just enough water to launch I think.Check it out, nice long ramp.
Re: DVL Fees
Yes, another $3 for that. Website says increase is to maintain the infrastructure. Maybe they are adding another outhouse. After being open 12 years still only outhouses and store running on generators.
DVL Fees
DVL raised fees March 1st. It will now cost $27 to launch and fish solo. Lady working there said Metropolitan Water is to blame. True or false?

Payout percent
I see a recent 2 day tourney collected $51,700 in entry fees and paid out $39,260 in cash awards. Around 76% back. 82% back to pro's but only 65% back to co's. $12,440 in expenses? Is that normal for these kind of events? There are team tourneys where I live that pay back 90% of entry fees and 100% ...

Re: Won Bass Breaking News - Inland Empire Region
9 Boats. We had a tough day finding keepers and only had 9.73 for 5 fish and 6th place. I did not hear the winning weight but Art paid 2 places.1st $1100 and 2nd I don't remember exactly,$515 plus option money I think.3rd place had big fish 5+, and $400.I think we were the only boat that just did bas...

Re: DVL Nights-remember the cage
I spoke to the person who saw the "net" with big fish in it.He was actually trying to catch them he said.I got the gut feeling he was telling the truth and he had no clue about why the fish were there. He did use the word "net" as you say.I don't know if much could have been done ...

DVL Nights-remember the cage
On 7-14-07 at an ABA night event a daytime angler told me about a cage with big fish in it.I reported the location to the TD right before launch.Only a couple of people knew about this and it would have been a perfect time for a sting as the cage was reported to be just over the hill from the parkin...
