Jared, those are all good colors you have chosen there. If the LV500 is not working, maybe try flippin a beaver on the outside edges of weedline, I heard that will sometimes work......

I was having the same problem. I had the cable replaced and that fixed it. However, WD40 or PB Blaster would probably help. If cable is old, replace it, if not, try the lube and/or adjust cable. Hope this helps.

thanks for all you advice. It is just gelcoat, no fiberglass damage. I have seen the Tap Plastics videos and will attempt this. Looks doable to me. I priced having it professionally done, and that is NOT doable.

Fiberglass question
Was wondering if I could get some advice here. I just noticed a pretty good "scrape" on bottom of my Stratos. About 6 inches long, paint is gone, not a hole, but fair amount of fiberglass damage. Looks like I hit a rock or something. How urgent is it that I get this repaired? And what more...

I have never used anything but Power Pro, so I can't comment on the others. However, I use 50 lb on 5 of the 8 rods I usually use. I fish the delta alot! Only problem I have had with braid is that it will slice quick if a fish runs it accross rocks. Some say flouracarbon for flippin rocks, but I jus...
