Jared, those are all good colors you have chosen there. If the LV500 is not working, maybe try flippin a beaver on the outside edges of weedline, I heard that will sometimes work...... 8)

I was having the same problem. I had the cable replaced and that fixed it. However, WD40 or PB Blaster would probably help. If cable is old, replace it, if not, try the lube and/or adjust cable. Hope this helps.

thanks for all you advice. It is just gelcoat, no fiberglass damage. I have seen the Tap Plastics videos and will attempt this. Looks doable to me. I priced having it professionally done, and that is NOT doable.

Was wondering if I could get some advice here. I just noticed a pretty good "scrape" on bottom of my Stratos. About 6 inches long, paint is gone, not a hole, but fair amount of fiberglass damage. Looks like I hit a rock or something. How urgent is it that I get this repaired? And what more...

I just picked up the X Tools scale. Lip-gripper type and it will store your five fish in memory. Great scale, used it only a few times so far, but I like it alot. Weighs up to 25 lb fish. Hope this helps.

I have always used about 2-3 oz of SEAFOAM in like every tankful. I have a 2 stroke 200 hp and I swear by the stuff. Cant say for sure if Im not just wasting money, but the guys at the boat shop say its a great idea to use it.

I use BOATMASTERS in Livermore. They are a great shop, real honest stand up guys. I know its a bit far from Sac, but well worth it. I would not go anywhere else. They have always gone over and above for me. They have a great reputation and are very professional. Enough said.
