Re: Lakes in Austin, Texas
I just moved to Texas 3 weeks ago and checked out some areas around Austin. Just like someone else said, Lake Travis is a very nice, big lake. The homes are around the lake are very nice and as far as Texas goes the prices are higher in that area. Austin is a pretty nice place. I moved to an area ju...

Re: Night Fishing and Moon phases
My fishing partner and I went last night in the Delta, we started around 6:30 pm and left Russo's at about 1:30. It was almost a full moon and we had a great night. We threw jigs, drop shot and some top water. I had one that was 8 even and Matt had a 9 on a black jig with a full size BH trailer. We ...

I just had mine done a couple of days ago. Same thing with the oil leaking. I pulled the prop and pulled out as much line as I could see, refilled, ran it again and it still leaked. Ask the same question on here as you did and all the advice was take it to the shop if you don't have the seal press t...

Thanks for all the advice and a place to vent. I talked with Stan at 1800bassboats who was able to ease some pain. He assured me not to worry and he would handle my insurance. For the life of me I don't understand this crap with Insurance companies!! I have been with Allstate Ins for about 15 years on every boat I have owned. This also happend to me with my 97 motor. The #4 plug. Ford would not admit to a design flaw and also recommended a head replacement for about $3000. I had a mechanic put the insert in for about $400.00 and I have had no problem with it yet and its been over 20,000 miles since the repair. I beleive ...

If I'm not mistaken this rule has been on the books for sime time, I think it is 1.05 DFG regs, that says fish must be hooked inside the mouth. Korny went over the regs at the last tournament and explained that if your crank bait or any other bait is hooked outside the mouth, which does happen from ...

If you havn't used it yet you will be most likely be amazed at how many fish are actually down there. G-Man, this is what I did with what I had in the garage. I used some electrical wire conectors and crimped them onto the plastic line very similar to weed-eater line and I have had no problems with it at all.
