I have the Winplus from Costco. 8000 Mah compared to the Weego 12,000 but it's plenty strong enough to start a big V8. It's $59, half the price of the Weego. Hope this helps

Might be okay if you're anchored. Kind of impractical if you're moving down the bank. Looks cheaply made for what the price they want.

For under $100 your going to replace a rusted ladder every year. Spend the money and get a stainless one.

For now, I'm guessing you're only going to get input/reviews from Pro Staff and a few high profile individuals. Like anything new, we're going to have to wait until the general public has access to them to get any "real" feedback. Are they available in stores? Any info on pricing?

The biggest drawback for the Session is the battery is built in and can't be swapped out for a charged one when it runs down. You aren't always going to be able to keep it connected to a battery.

What's the latest on the fish kill at Clear Lake earlier this month. Rumor has it there was some sort of oil slick on the water at the south end, along with a strong odor. Fish of all species were killed.

Guys, think twice if you are going fishing. Breathing burning poison oak or poison ivy will put you in the hospital. Even if there is no smoke on the lake, it is still in the air.

You have to be in the right 2 lanes, so you can be in the fast lane if its a 2 lane road I believe. On a two lane road in CA, the left lane is a PASSING lane. You can only be in the lane to pass a vehicle, then you must move back to the right lane. If you tow in the left lane, even at the speed lim...

some guys like to play for higher stakes. These other options just give them more chance to win some money. Not everyone is going to enter the extra options. If 10 people enter the $10 option, the winner gets $100, and so on with each option. Sometimes it doesn't take very much weight to win an opti...

I don't fish the Delta, so that eliminates a few rods. I try to fish at least 2 times a week. If I have a pattern that holds, I will sometimes only have two rods in the boat.

If my memory is working, there was more than one brand. They are not the same size. If you have a small deck, I would look into the smaller box so there is less chance of cutting into one of the support beams. The Ideal install would not cut into the beams.

yes, it was a great fish, but I don't understand how IGFA could even consider certifying the scale after the fact., and then recognizing the weight that was recording at weigh in. The rules clearly say the fish has to be weighed on a certified scale, which it was at the store.

Re: Trolling Motor/Battery Help

The best way to check your batteries is to fully charge them and let them sit for an hour before you take the readings. A fully charged battery should read 13.2 A reading of 12.5 means your battery is half gone. That's why your batteries aren't lasting. Time to look for new batteries

Go up the McCloud arm and do the Shasta Caverns tour. The Caverns are about 1/4 mile into the McCloud on the right side. There is a dock where you can tie up the houseboat. Bring a sweatshirt or light jacket, as it's 58 degrees in the caverns
