more good stuff. What I would love see is something that you can attach to your tow vehicle (either from the roof or thru a back window) and have visibility (video capability) of your boat when on the road or in a parking lot. Cell connectivity would be great to have for real-time txt notification a...

If it is parked close enough to send a wireless signal to an alarm it will work. I've been looking at Simply Safe Home alarm motion sensor and alarm. It's wireless and you could take it anywhere. The Alarm sounder is quite loud and would scare off anybody and also alert you immediately !! Check it ...

Re: Boat Alarm
I'm surprised that no one has developed a 2-way video system using cheaper cell phone/WiFi technology. For the cost of a 2nd phone line, some bubble gum and duct tape you could have a decent security system that should work as long as there is cell tower within range.

Same old Naci, tons of fish, bigger fish are the trick.
Lots of little fish. Shakey heads, Dart heads will get bit. For numbers fish a 2.8 keitech swimmer on a darter head. 5 lb. test.

No need to take pot shots. Not nice. I don't need to own a Ranger bote to comment on corporate executive shuffling. I am merely reposting interesting news just like any news source, social media site, or oped column. FWIW, I like the Ranger brand and maybe some day I will. Interesting times ahead fo...

A curious point is that why did the top leadership "resign" on the same day. Oh to be the fly on the wall at the factory. Would be interesting to hear the real story.

Trouble waters at Ranger Boats?
Lots of chatter and articles out there in the wake of 3 top Ranger executives resigning on the same day. Can't be good for our sport, or can it? Could the next boat out of Flippin AR, be the Ranger Pro 521 XPS Uncle Bucks Series? ----------------------------------------------------------------------...

Its mechanical and therefore its bound to break at the least convenient time. Pros and con with both types of anchor systems as long as the companies support their equipment. Regardless of whatever you install on your boat, being prepared for mechanical breakdown can mean the difference between havi...

I just picked up a HUK Jacket. Its a nice light jacket for on and off sprinkles and chilly mornings, however its is NO WHERE near the quality of a Guide Wear , 100 MPH, or SIMs Jacket. In a steady rain, you will be soaked after 60 minutes of fishing.

The No Public Boats enforcement has been going on for over a month. It was in response to Irvine Lakes' insurance carrier not allowing it... or at least that is what has been publicized. That edict stemmed from a previous death from August 2013. The weird part of it is that it happened almost two da...

Best of luck to you. Which part of "LA" will you reside? As a guess, you will be fishing Castaic and Pyramid since those are the closest. Recommend you join a bass club to get your light line skillz up to par especially for fishing Western lakes. Oh, and watch out for that over-paid carpen...
