On the lowrance page for this unit it calls for a HST-DFSBL which is probably the transom transducer, usually the trolling motor puck unit starts with a PDT. So most likely it could be a PDT-DFSBL

Never mind- I called Navionics and got the answer, the Prem chip wont show the sat image in the HDS, only the platinum, also only certain lakes have the HD capability so far, and chips before 2010 are not updatable. CHA CHING....

I have Navionics Hotmaps premium, update 4.0, I cant seem to get the satellite imagery , is this the photo overlay setting? I have it on land and shallow water, or do i need the platinum chip?

I updated mine last week, it wouldn't update my SD card to the 4.0 until I removed the 2 previous updates, I had no problems loading in on my units.

If my memory serves me 1st place was 4 fish for 14 + lbs, 1 limit of 7 fish for 11+ lbs and the weights dropped off after that. It was cold.

I have a HDS-5 on the console and a HDS-5X on the bow, I did put a ethernet cable between the two and I am suppose to be able to share waypoints between the two.
they do share info between both units.
