The 2016 Roland Sigurdson Outstanding Aquatic Education Program Award was presented to Fishing's Future on October 29, 2016 naming Fishing's Future as the #1 Aquatic Education Program in America by the Aquatic Resources Education Association (AREA). Founder, Shane Wilson was ecstatic at the recognition!

Oroville Champs Crowned | Youngest AOY's in Future Pro Tour history.
It is for sure that Pat Saddora, and Wendell Brown brought the 2016 Coors Light Future Pro Tour season to a glorious end last Saturday in their narrow victory over a tough field of competitors during the “Gold County Showdown” at Lake Oroville with only a 9.25 pound five-fish limit.

FPT Location Change | April 2
The 2nd event of the year for the Coors Light FPT central region will be this Saturday at New Melones NOT Don Pedro. Registration the morning ot the event will begin at 4:00am at Glory Hole Sporting Goods in Angels Camp, with launch at safe-light.

Angler’s of the Year dominate extremely tough field to take Coors Light Championship title
Proving that the Angler of the Year titles they earned from participating in last year’s Future Pro Tour competition was not just a “fluke”, Matt Frazier and Anthony Souza, came into last weekend’s Coors Light Delta Open Teams Championship event with guns-a-blazing and a “take no prisoners” attitude, as they dominated an extremely tough field of competitors with a total 2-day weight of 50.91 to win the 2nd annual invitational championship event presented by Cabral RAM of Manteca.
