Spokane Bass Club Silver Lake Tournament Recap
This was our first time ever hitting Silver Lake and it was our best ever tournament for big bags of fish. The weigh-in was a steady stream of solid bags and big fish being weighed. We timed it perfectly and the fish were biting all over the lake and with a variety of techniques.

CANTERBURY WINS FLW TOUR ON BEAVER LAKE
ROGERS, Ark. – In one of the most dramatic finishes in FLW history, Quaker State pro Scott Canterbury of Springville, Alabama, brought a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 17 pounds even to win the Walmart FLW Tour at Beaver Lake presented by Jack Link’s Sunday and the top prize of $125,000.

OKLAHOMA’S ROBERTSON VAULTS INTO DAY TWO LEAD AT FLW TOUR ON BEAVER LAKE
ROGERS, Ark. – Last year when the FLW Tour visited Beaver Lake, Oklahoma pro Darrel Robertson was in second place as the tournament progressed into the third day of competition. Robertson struggled on day three and didn’t advance to championship Sunday. Friday, at the Walmart FLW Tour at Beaver Lake presented by Jack Link’s, Robertson earned a shot at redemption.

FLORIDA’S KENNEY LEADS DAY ONE OF FLW TOUR ON BEAVER LAKE
For years Beaver Lake has seemed to have pro angler J.T. Kenney’s number. In his previous 13 visits to the northwest Arkansas fishery, Kenney has averaged a finish of 85th place and finished in the money just three times. The Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) made its second stop for the Arizona Teams division at Lake Mohave on March 26. Taking the victory were Arizona anglers JJ Gibbs from Lake Havasu City and Luke Eggers from Kingman with their seven-fish limit of 24.93.

The Texas Team Trail (TXTT) presented by Cabela's will host its final regular-season event of the 2016 tournament season on Saturday, April 16, at Lake Texoma. The fishery straddles the Texas/Oklahoma border and offers anglers great opportunities for big bass.

Jesse Wiggins of Cullman, Ala., wins the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open #2 held on Smith Lake out of Jasper, Ala. Wiggins brought 15 pounds, 3 ounces to Saturday's weigh-in, giving him a two-day total weight of 34-2.

Walleye being held by individual in rain coatThe Department of Natural Resources and the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, with assistance from the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, have begun a tag-and-recapture study on the walleye population in Walloon Lake in Charlevoix and Emmet counties.

New Hampshire Large-Lakes Fishing Season Opens April 1
One of the mildest winters in memory has already led to ice-free conditions on expansive portions of New Hampshire's large lakes (e.g. Winnipesaukee), which will allow for abundant angling opportunities come April 1, the start of open-water fishing on lakes managed for landlocked salmon, lake trout, and rainbow trout. The traditional "watching and waiting" period for available open water to slip in the first small trolling craft - typically 2-3 weeks after the official opener - will certainly not be the case this year!

30+ lb limit WON Bass California Open Day 3 Final
Double G Greg Gutierrez and Corey Vasquez brought in the big stringer of the final day at 36.43. Gutierrez ended in 2nd place pro and Corey Vasquez 3rd AAA. Their pro big bass was 8.03 and co big bass 8.30.
