Fishing Clear Lake this Week | Updates from the Lake
As of this morning the lake is at 7.53 Rumsey, with “full pool” being 7.56 we are there, and the lake will most likely see 8.0 Rumsey by weeks end. Water temps are in the low to mid 50’s. So, yes, as most have heard, Clear Lake has been at its finest since the first week in February. No, the rumors of 40 lb bags were not rumors. Trust me, I’ve seen more than one guide service put the hurt on em’ to that tune.

California Open Clear Lake Itinerary
Official practice for the event is Monday March 21st and Tuesday March 22nd until Noon. All boats must be off the water by noon on Tuesday March 22nd. Anyone wanting to fish the Chamber tournament the weekend prior will not be violating any official practice rules. Anglers MAY fish that event with anyone they choose regardless if they are registered for our event or not. Once official practice starts on Monday March 21st, you may only practice with someone registered for the event and follow all tournament rules during that time.

BBT Northern Region Opener 3/12 Lake Berryessa
heck -in will begin early Saturday morning at 4:00 AM at the BBT Trailer. If you have already checked in on Friday afternoon, you do not need to check in again as you will have your boat number to show the BBT men wearing chartreuse vests and have all your boat compartments open and ready for inspection then you can launch. If you are boating over from another launch site and you have already checked in on Friday afternoon, have your boat compartments open at the dock to have your boat checked there. If you have not checked in, you will have to sign up and get your boat number. ( It is an easy walk up the ramp to the BBT trailer for Check in ) then open your boat compartments for the inspection.
