Spectators can observe as part of the WWBT fully-televised event to air on Fox Sports and the Pursuit Channel. Named as a Top 10 Fishing Town in North America by Forbes and listed as a fishery on the Bassmaster Top 100 Lakes, Shasta will see 200-plus pro and co-anglers converge on its waters to battle for cash awards that are expected to exceed $100,000.

Strader Strides Into First At Southern Open
Wesley Strader of Spring City, Tenn., leads on Day 2 of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open #1 held on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes out of Kissimmee, Fla. Strader brought 15 pounds, 11 ounces to the scales at Friday's weigh-in for a two-day total of 37-4.

NPAA Conference Kicks off Sport Show & Tournament Season
The recently concluded National Professional Anglers Association annual conference, themed, “From Passion to Profession,” hit all the right notes. Anglers made new friends, learned from the 50 industry leaders in attendance, reviewed new products, schedules and programs, and heard from experts including keynote speaker ASA president and CEO Mike Nussman.

When the WWBT comes to town, we bring owners, staff and personnel from Indiana, Oklahoma, Colorado and Arizona.
