try this on for size... I like to use a Gami EWG 4/0.. what i do is i rig it side ways.. by that i mean, i thread the hook texas style like you would normally however I go about 3 ribs down and pull it on the side of the bait and then burry the hook point back into the bait towards the opposite side...

Greg, you should try the 734 or the 765 cb/sbr, however i prefer the 734. All around reaction rod, topwater, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, chatter baits, and you can also use for flipping. I have used it for senkos and its great for swimmin a jig.
