Fishing for a living (little long)

I have been fishing for about 13 years and I have a unique opportunity to take the whole year and work on just fishing. I know that everyone is different and everyone learns at a different pace, but I am thinking about taking this year to try and pursue my dreams of being a professional bass fisherm...

These are just my thoughts. My feeling on the FPT is that it is for beginner anglers that have not fished a lot of tournaments or are new to bass fishing period, at least that is what it is designed for..... It seems to me that anyone who has won a boat (definitley more than $6000.00) or has had con...

I actually started the Delta topic and I was just probing for an answer to see if I was the only one that found the Delta not so pleasant. To me disliking the Delta really had nothing to do with my inability to catch fish there. The post was not meant to turn into a bash of other anglers, I just wan...

The Delta (Am I the only one......)

That really doesn't like the Delta all that much. It could be that I don't understand it very well, or the damn nats that drove me nuts, all the boats, or all the hydrilla that fills Franks. Every time I have gone out it is miserable and not very much fun for me. I do like the idea that a hog can be...

Vince setting someone up so they won't dominate the circuit is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard. Vince blasts the boats off, but I have never seen him check them in. I think it is the boaters fishing the tournament to make sure that they are checked in at the right time.

I actually fished one of the weekend series when I was living back in Missouri. The co-angler that won actually caught 0 fish. I caught 1 which I know doesn't deserve a check, but it was frustrating to see someone who didn't catch a single fish walk away with the top prize.
