Re: cabelas raingear
If you haven't ordered yet. Check out the Cabelas website ,click on bargain cave. Click on the 70% off box, then the men's clothing section. I just ordered two of the Dry plus guide parkas for me and a friend. Used the $20 off $100 coupons I got in the mail. The parkas and jackets are $98 had to ord...

Re: SENKO ORINGS WHY ? Try rubber brace bands
Got some small rubber bands they put on kids braces last time at the dentist. Use them over a spinning reel handle and up to the rod to hold a drop shot weight in place stops banging around when running works great. Might work on the wacky too haven't tried it yet, they come in different sizes.

Re: Love to fish, hang in there part 2
Sorry, was talking of the ways to adjust to Mo if you had stayed there. I guess I should also mention one of the things I'm looking forward to most this year is a trip back down to Clear Lake maybe two. After all like most of my buddies thats where my biggest bass came from. Actually you might catch...

Re: Love to fish, hang in there!
I grew up in Sprangfield! My parents still live about a five min walk from Bass Pro, just called them today. I lived in NoCal and used to fish with the Redwood Empire club Skeet used to belong to. Nothing is the same as being able to fish the great waters in CA year round. I'm in Oregon now and my t...

Classic fish landing question, Clunn and Ahoeinelli opinion
Loved seeing Clunn's hands shaking while trying to straighten his spinnerbait after the 10#er was hoisted in. Was not suprised at Ikes antics. I think throwing the dead or dying fish back in will make the worst impression about bassfishers in the long run. As for the flag, the second it went over hi...

Re: Dropshot/spinning reel line favorites? Thanks
Thanks, lots of good advice. I was going to try the Yozuri a friend said it is stiff also. Was looking at the flouroclear the other day will probably try it. Also I have gotten away from my larger spool spinning reels due to weight, but see they are putting big spools on small reels now with that as...

Dropshot/spinning reel line favorites?
I am using my spinning reels more all the time, small tubes, worms and stuff. I like to try different brands at the same time not spending too much. Mostly want sensitivity and low memory not real heavy abrasion worries. I mostly want a line that won't jump off the reel half way thru the day, if tha...

Re: OK, from a "Ford Guy"
Being a non-boater, I was very impressed by all the diesels I have ridden in. The torque and low rpm power is stunning compared to my small v-8 F-150. The drawback as an every day ride with the noise and smell at home would be hard for me to get used to. My old neighbor used to fire his up then go b...

Re: Rain bibs or rain pants
I have never owned any bps just cabelas I like their quality in general. Bought some snowmobile extreme weather bibs made of gortex and stay dry and warm in the worst weather, it was seasonal sale saved a lot. They have some sales going right now. Might go with the bps Columbia ROL bibs brand in the...

Ghost club members, B.A.S.S. and Fed tourney opinions ?
After reading the thread below how bout a little rainy day discussion about the topic. Have been in small clubs as a boater and now non-boater so it affects me more now. I know the stock answer, get your own boat and shut up. I mostly want to know if other small clubs are getting even smaller with l...

Just to be onery call and tell them you need a braille version for the days you take your buddy Stevie Wonder out for a boat ride and swim and yo...

BPS don't hate them cause their beautiful!
I grew up about a quarter mile from BPS in Springfield and was there when Johnny Morris started. My uncle paved their first parking lot and my buddie did the early catalog pics, remember the Uncle Buck calendars! P-line hi-vis flouresent experience?
I'm back asking the same line watching questions. Still not happy with the line I bought for bite watching, real ropy feel. Store has sale and thought about trying the P-Line x-tra in the flouresent color. Anyone used it? Does it blend underwater very well package doesn't say, or would I have to alw...
