i understand it is not a team tourney. but are all participants required to have their own boat? basically im asking if i can fish this event as a non boater. sounds like a ton of fun!

does the spool for the 100dsv fit the 100d (are they interchangable)?

would the extra weight of the spool+line diminish casting distance?
if yes, by how much?

i love the way this reel fits my hand, but i notice i can almost spool out on a long cast with 12lb test.

ok so between say... 15lb and 8lb test flourocarbon line: which will sink faster? 15lb because of the mass? (flouro is denser, so does the thicker line allow it to sink faster?) or 8lb test? (because of the thinner line diameter, and lesser friction?) stumped... lastly, will flouro sink in saltwater...

hey all, was thinking of renting a bass boat to fish clearlake. can any body recommend a place to rent from? i dont need a full sized fiberglass, but id like to stay away from the cheapy aluminums... any help will be appreciated. thanks
